ARTIST Luana Zottarelli

Luana Zottarelli is an artist from Treviso, Italy.
She studied cooking at the “Massimo Alberini” Hotel Institute in Treviso. The kitchen is a very creative world, which gives the possibility to create and express emotions with food, but although she liked it she did not feel it was entirely hers, so she found work in a factory, where she still is a worker and tells us: “inside of me I have always felt the need to vent my creativity in some way and this is where my passion for painting is born. Abstract Art has always fascinated because it leaves each observer the total freedom of interpretation, it has no right or wrong sense but only what we ourselves want to see. This sense of freedom pushed me to paint, and in painting I found great satisfaction. I love to combine very bright and lively colors, in fact in my paintings the main protagonists are the contrasts between the various colors “.
Luana recently participated with 5 works in a group exhibition at the Trevisioni Festival in Treviso and one of her works was exhibited at the Museo Civico Casa Robegan in Treviso on the occasion of the exhibition “Let’s get up with art” organized by the SùArte association.

Luana Zottarelli è una artista di Treviso.
Ha studiato cucina presso l’ Istituto Alberghiero “ Massimo Alberini” di Treviso. La cucina è un mondo molto creativo, che dà la possibilità di creare ed esprimere emozioni con il cibo, ma sebbene le piacesse non lo sentiva del tutto suo, ha trovato quindi lavoro in una fabbrica, dove lavora tutt’ora come operaia e ci racconta: ” ma dentro di me ho sempre sentito la necessità di sfogare in qualche modo la mia creatività e da qui nasce la mia passione per la pittura”.La pittura astratta mi ha sempre affascinata perché lascia a ciascun osservatore la totale libertà di interpretazione, non ha un senso giusto o sbagliato ma solo quello che noi stessi vogliamo vedere.
Questo senso di libertà mi ha spinto a dipingere, e nella pittura ho trovato una grande soddisfazione. Adoro accostare colori molto accesi e vivaci, infatti nei miei quadri i protagonisti principali sono i contrasti fra i vari colori”.
Recentemente ha partecipato con 5 opere ad una mostra collettiva presso il Festival Trevisioni a Treviso e una sua opera è stata esposta al Museo Civico Casa Robegan a Treviso in occasione della mostra “ Tiriamoci su con l’arte” organizzata dall’associazione SùArte.
