ARTIST Maura Del Zotto

Maura Del Zotto lives in Udine, a city located in the North of Italy. Since she was a child she has been interested in art, especially painting, thanks to a famous artist, a friend of her grandfather, who used to take Maura with him when he went out to paint in the open air. For a long time she was not able to concretely pursue art as a career, for various reasons. In 2012 her daughter gave Maura a great gift by enrolling her, as a surprise, in a painting course. From there she began her journey, attending several courses that, experimenting with different styles of painting, have made Maura grow artistically.

During these years she have participated in numerous exhibitions and exhibitions in her region (Friuli-Venezia Giulia), in Veneto, and also in a painting exhibition in Barcelona (Spain), receiving some awards and mentions that have contributed to feed her passion.

Maura uses mixed painting techniques (oil and acrylic) on different supports, such as canvases, various types of wood and cardboard. Lately she has started to experiment with watercolor.

Maura Del Zotto vive a Udine, una città situata nel Nord dell’Italia.

Fin da piccola è stata interessata all’arte, in particolare alla pittura, grazie a un famoso artista, amico di suo nonno, che la portava con sé quando andava a dipingere all’aria aperta. Per molto tempo non ha potuto concretamente perseguire, per diverse ragioni, questa sua passione. Nel 2012 sua figlia le ha fatto un grande regalo: iscrivendo Maura, a sua insaputa, a un corso di pittura. Da lì ha iniziato il suo percorso, frequentando alcuni corsi che, sperimentando differenti stili di pittura, la hanno fatto crescere artisticamente.

Nel corso di questi anni ha partecipato a numerose esibizioni ed ex tempore nella sua regione (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) e in Veneto, e a una mostra di pittura a Barcellona (Spagna), ricevendo anche alcuni premi e menzioni che hanno contribuito ad alimentare questa sua passione.

Utilizza tecniche di pittura miste (olio e acrilico) su supporti diversi, come tele, vari tipi di legno e cartone. Ultimamente ha iniziato a sperimentare l’acquarello.
